The industrialists told the Chief Minister that the condition of the roads was already vulnerable but after the recent heavy rains, the roads have fully been destroyed and at present, the roads are not in a position to bear the burden of traffic, therefore, stressing the reconstruction of SITE Karachi roads.
The delegation also explained that the financial situation of SITE limited is weak because it was overstaffed. Minister Industries Jam Ikram added that the requirement of the employees of SITE limited is 450 employees whereas 1500 employees are working currently therefore, a heavy amount is spent on salaries and pension.
