The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Thursday that the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2021) has been postponed due to an increase in COVID-19 cases among players and officials involved in the tournament.
According to the announcement, the Pakistan Cricket Board has agreed to postpone the Pakistan Super League season 6 with immediate effect after consulting with team owners and considering the health and welfare of all participants is paramount.
According to the statement, the decision was reached after seven cases were registered in the PSL 2021 competition, which began on February 20.

As a first step, the PCB will concentrate on ensuring the safe and secure passage of all participants, arranging repeat PCR checks, vaccines, and isolation facilities for the six sides involved.
At 3 p.m., PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan will hold a press conference at the National Stadium to provide additional details.
