The Excise and Taxation Department (ETD) Islamabad has introduced home services for vehicle owners in the capital, citizens would now be able to call ETD team at their doorstep for vehicle registration and pay their taxes online.
Pakistan is going through the third wave of covid-19 due to which current positive cases have been swelled. However, battle is still going on and virus has not been eradicated yet so in order to avoid more positive cases, the Excise and Taxation Department (ETD) introduced home services. Citizens of Islamabad can now call ETD team at their doorway for vehicle registration and pay their taxes online.
Moreover, ETD Islamabad has posted a video public service message on their official Facebook page, Islamabad Excise. Director ETD Islamabad, Bilal Azam, has informed the citizens in the video that the district administration is offering online solutions for all excise related services. Director ETD has requested and asked the citizens of Islamabad to stay safe and use the door to door services of the Excise Department.

Doorstep Vehicle Registration in Islamabad
From now onwards, citizens will be able to call the ETD Islamabad office for the registration and transfer of their vehicles. The excise team will come to their doorstep and do the needful.
For registration and transfer of showroom vehicles, Director ETD has presented an offer for all the registered showrooms in Islamabad to share 4-5 locations with the Excise Department where the team can visit and perform the process of vehicle registration and transfer.
Online Tax Payments
Alike Sindh car owners, Islamabad vehicle owners can also pay their excises online. Citizens can download the City Islamabad App for online payments of Professional Tax, Bed Tax, Real Estate/Vehicle Dealer Tax, Entertainment Duty, and Tobacco Vend Fee.
Also, citizens of Islamabad can also pay their taxes through bank branches, ATMs, post offices, or NADRA e-Sahulat centres.
