China has delivered the first batch of Chengdu J-10C semi-stealth 4.5-gen advanced multi-role fighter jets to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
Unofficial photographs of two J-10C fighters with PAF markings undertaking test flights at Chengdu Aircraft Corporation’s airbase last month were published by Chinese plane spotters. Chengdu Aircraft Corporation is a Chinese aerospace corporation that designs and builds warplanes.
Meanwhile, last December, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that 25 Pakistan Air Force J-10C fighter jets would fly over the Pakistan Day Parade on March 23, 2022.
It was first reported in July of last year that Pakistan would receive 36 J-10C fighter jets from China. The remaining jets will be supplied in the second batch.

The J-10C mid-sized fighter jet shares several similarities with the Indian Air Force’s Rafale fighter jet, including size, aerodynamic characteristics, aviation, weapon systems, and overall combat capability (IAF).
This is why the Interior Minister said that the PAF’s J-10C fighter jets would be able to battle India’s Rafale fighter jets.

Fly-by-wire flight controls and an AESA fire control radar are included in the single-engine tail-less canard delta wing J-10C. For great strength and low weight, it is composed of composite materials. A Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-23 twin-barrel gun is mounted beneath the port side of the intake as internal armament.
Other weaponry and equipment are fixed on 11 hardpoints on the outside, where 6,000 kg of missiles or bombs, fuel drop-tanks, or other equipment like avionics pods can be attached.
Short-range air-to-air missiles like the PL-8 and PL-10, medium-range radar-guided air-to-air missiles such as the PL-12 and PL-15, unguided and precision-guided munitions like laser-guided bombs, air-to-surface missiles like the KD-88, anti-ship missiles such as the YJ-91A, and anti-radiation missiles just like YJ-91 may be used by the J-10C
