Punjab Mass Transit Authority Moves Towards Commercialization of Metro Stations

The Board of Governors of the Punjab Mass Transit Authority (PMTA) has given preliminary approval for implementing a business model at Metro Bus Service and Orange Line Metro Train stations.

In a meeting held on Saturday, the board reviewed a proposal to establish stalls, retail outlets, ATMs, and vending machines across the stations. They also discussed introducing digital streamers, glass boards, and other advertising tools at these locales.
