The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee of Pakistan has officially announced the sighting of the Dhul-Hijjah crescent moon, thereby confirming that Eid-ul-Adha, the Islamic Festival of Sacrifice, will be observed on Thursday, 29th June. The announcement was made following the committee’s meeting in Karachi, which was led by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.
