Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister Sindh has tested positive for coronavirus, as per the statement released by CM House Sindh.

According to details, the Chief Minister developed a mild fever after which Murad Ali Shah tested for the viral infection COVID-19 and the result came back as positive. The test was conducted on Friday.

CM Murad Ali Shah released a statement that even though he is feeling fine but for precautionary measures, he is isolating himself as per the instruction by the medical team. CM Sindh also added that he will continue to work from his official residence.
With the smart lockdown strategy, Pakistan almost eradicated the coronavirus within the country but due to changes in weather conditions, resumption of business, individual’s sloppiness and several other operations at full scale turn out to be a major factor for the coronavirus revival.
The second wave of the coronavirus is even more severe as cases are increasing day by day according to reports. The country is reported more than 2,000 corona cases on daily basis for the third consecutive day. In last 24 hours, country has detected 2,050 new corona cases and 33 deaths reported across Pakistan.
Overall, the total coronavirus cases are 361,082 and 7,193 individuals lost their lives from the deadly virus. Meanwhile, the active cases are 29,055 and among them, 1,447 corona patients are in a critical situation.
The National Coordination Committee (NCC) is conducting another meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan to formulate a cumulative strategy in order to mitigate the rising number of coronavirus cases from the country.
