Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has tested positive for the Covid a day before his sister Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari’s engagement.
PPP Chairman Bilawal announced the news on Twitter while explaining that he is currently suffering from mild symptoms.
“I’ll continue working from home and will be addressing PPP foundation day via video link. Wear a mask, everyone, see you on the other side.” He wrote.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari isolated himself on Tuesday after the confirmation that one of his staff members was confirmed to have been infected.
The Covid news emerged one day before Bilawal elder sister Bakhtawar Bhutto’s engagement that is due with a Dubai based businessman. The engagement is to take place on Friday, November 27, at Bilawal House, Karachi.
With the latest changing scenario, he will not attend his sister’s engagement. Bilawal will not be available for the next rally in Multan by Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM). However, it is expected that he may address the rally through a video link which is taking place on November 30.

Politicians’ wishes started pouring in of speedy recovery to the PPP Chairman as soon as the news broke on Twitter.
PPP Senator Rehman Malik wished the party chairman’s a speedy recovery.
Taimur Jhaggra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Health Minister also sent him best wishes.
Taking to Twitter, PTI’s Senator Faisal Javed Khan, however, questioned the “cruelty” behind calling people out on the streets while addressing them via video link.
