Jack Ma a billionaire philanthropist and founder of the Chinese biggest e-commerce platform Alibaba will receive Pakistan Civil Award Sitara-i-Pakistan on Pakistan Day, 23rd March for his services towards the country.
Jack Ma will be among 184 Pakistani and foreign nationals who will be conferred with Pakistan Civil Awards as a token of appreciation towards their great services and excellent efforts in their respective fields.

In the difficult situation during coronavirus pandemic, the philanthropist Jack Ma donated facemasks, protective gear for health workers, test kits and temperature guns to support Pakistan in its fight against COVID-19.
According to details, the Jack Ma foundation donated 210,000 COVID-19 testing kits, over 1.8 million face masks, and emergency supplies to 10 Asian countries back in March when coronavirus hit the Pakistani ground.
According to a report by China Economic Net, Jack Ma said in a tweet “Go Asia!” “Delivering fast is not easy, but we’ll get it done!”
Apart from Jack Ma, three more Chinese citizens will receive the Pakistan Civil Award when ceremony inaugurates.

Jack Ma is a Chinese philanthropist, a business investor, co-founder and former executive chairman of Alibaba Group which is a multinational technological company. According to Forbes ranking of “World’s Most Powerful People” list, Jack Ma was placed at the 21st spot. He also serves as a role model for startup businesses.
Daniel Zhang replaces him as an executive chairman of Ali Baba Group as Jack Ma decided to withdraw from Alibaba and moved towards Philanthropy, educational reforms and environmental causes in 2018.
According to stats Alibaba’s founder total net worth is $48.3 billion. He is also the richest man in China.
