The Board of Investment (BOI) has confirmed that Brothers Gas, a UAE-based company, will invest $15 million in Pakistan to build an industrial gas plant in the M3 Industrial Area in Faisalabad.
“Fareena Mazhar, Secretary of the BOI, met with Kashif Maqsood, Managing Director of Brothers Gas, one of Dubai’s top oil and gas companies. BOI said on Wednesday that Maqsood had confirmed their plans to build a bottling factory in the Special Economic Zone in Faisalabad.
The BOI also revealed that the company will start with a $15 million investment. The project will be completed in three stages.

The investment, according to the Secretary of the BOI, is a huge step forward in attracting foreign investment and lowering imports in Pakistan.
Brothers Gas want to build an Aerosol Propellant Gas “APG” factory in Pakistan rather than importing it. For the first time in Pakistan, refrigerant gases and ADNOC lubricants will be introduced as part of the project.
The first phase will involve the construction of a gas plant in the M3 industrial district in Faisalabad, which will serve the local market and assist export to surrounding markets. It will include industrial gases with more than 1000 products.
