Capital Development Authority Chairman Amir Ali Ahmed had inaugurated a new park called Hill Park on 3rd Road in Sector G-10/4 Islamabad.
Besides, the CDA chairman also initiated the spring tree plantation campaign 2022 and planted a sapling in the new Hill Park. The department of environment also planted over 500 trees during the inaugural ceremony of the park.
The CDA chief ordered the concerned departments to take immediate steps for a proper illumination system in the park. He also instructed to further enhance the jogging track to facilitate the people.
He added that the park has been established after eradicating the heaps of garbage and debris to deliver recreational facilities to the residents.
In addition, more than 0.3 million huge size plants should be planted in the city during the spring tree plantation drive, the CDA chairman further said.

Enlightening the other features of the park, he said the park has numerous amusement facilities for children to play in, such as walkways, a jogging track, swings, cycling track.
Similarly, to keep the environment green, fresh, pollution-free, seasonal flowers of various colors have been planted in Hill Park so that the visitors can fully adore the atmosphere. The authority also mounted benches in the park.
In another development, CDA has also decided to make proper security measures at F-9 Park to guarantee the safety and security of visitors.
In this regard, an official said that the authority would also install modern CCTV cameras which will be connected with the Islamabad Safe City for monitoring.
Security guards will be hired at all entry and exit points across the park, he added.
Because of special attention from the CDA chief to encourage healthy activities in the federal capital, the work of restoring and maintenance of parks is also in progress across the city.
Also, orders have been released to re-install broken fences at the park as well as ensure proper lighting arrangements.
