Capital Development Authority sealed Centaurus Mall in an overnight raid as reported by the sources. The Development came after a heated argument between prime Minister of AJK Sardar Tanveer Ilyas and Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareef during his visit to Mangla.
It has been reported that PM Shahbaz Shareef didn’t allow the PM of AJK to speak during his speech.
It is to mention that Centaurs Mall caught fire during month of October and the authorities blamed the federal government for the incident as said by the spokesperson from AJK Moreover Centaurs Mall is owned by the PM of AJK Sardar Tanveer Ilyas. The spokesperson said that the fire was set deliberately as federal government was doing political victimisation.
Last night, in a raid by team of CDA officials and local police, the administrative staff as well as guards were expelled out of the Centaurus Mall and was ultimately sealed.

The CDA team claimed to have done the raid and sealed it over “illegal use”. According to reports, the Mall has been sealed because of its non-confirming use. In an urban planning a nonconforming use allows a piece of property to be excluded from current zoning regulations due to improvements made by the owner or because the desired use was permitted before current zoning laws made it illegal.
Further investigation is still under way, however large no of security has been deployed around the shopping mall.
