Because of its attractive price despite the recent hike, the Changan Alsvin has grown popular among Pakistani automobile buyers. Its popularity has soared to the point where dealerships have halted bookings for all Alsvin models.
Multiple authorized dealerships have already met the monthly quota for Alsvin sales in April and will start accepting new bookings in May 2022. Meanwhile, the delivery time has been increased from 45 to 75 days, according to the dealers.
Alsvin 1.3 MT, Alsvin 1.5 DCT, Alsvin Lumiere 1.5
Alsvin was introduced by Master Changan Motors Limited in January 2022 as a direct competitor to the Honda City and Toyota Yaris. Standard 1.3 Manual, Standard 1.5 DCT, and Lumiere 1.5 DCT are the three variants.
Alsvin comes with two different powerplant options. The base variant features a naturally aspirated 1.37-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine with 95 horsepower (hp) and 135 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque, which is sent to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
Both the mid and top trim levels have a naturally aspirated 1.5 litre 4-cylinder petrol engine with 105 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque that is sent to the front wheels via a 5-speed DCT automated transmission.
Once the bookings are open again, you can book Changan Alsvin 1.3L Manual variant for Rs 5.5 lac and pay Rs 6.5 lac for the upper 1.5L DCT variants.

Changan recently increased the price of Alsvin, bringing it close to the Rs 3 million mark. Despite the price increase, Alsvin remains an economical option to its competitors with comparable features, making it a better value for money.
Despite the fact that Alsvin does not disclose its official sales figures, market reports indicate that the company is giving its competitors a run for their money.
