I simply used my own strength on both days. I made an effort to perform with clarity what I had practiced in the nets. Going with the plan and supporting myself while batting in the middle of the order has been quite helpful.

When questioned about the 15th over of the innings, in which Pakistan scored 25 runs to shift the game in its favor, Nawaz claimed that Haider Ali had contributed by hitting a few boundaries in the previous over. “We utilized the momentum and secured the boundaries against bowler.”

The Pakistani captain thanked his middle-order hitters for stepping up and performing.
“The praise goes to our team’s performance. At the death, the bowlers were excellent. The middle order played quite well. We must rise to the occasion because Haider and Nawaz are excellent.
We have high morale going to Australia for the major competition which is ICC T20 World Cup, Babar stated.

Star batsman and wicket keeper Mohammad Rizwan surpassed India’s Suryakumar Yadav to become the highest T20I scorer in 2022, adding another achievement to his record.
When Rizwan scored the 15th run against New Zealand in today’s tri-series final on Friday, he passed the Indian batsman, who had scored 801 runs in 23 innings.
In his 18th innings of the year, Rizwan completed the milestone.
Mohammad Rizwan was also the highest T20I scorer in the previous year. He was named the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year after scoring 1,326 runs over the course of 26 innings.
