Dwayne Johnson famously known as “The Rock” expressed his desire to be the next James Bond, according to international news agency.
The Fast and Furious and Red Notice star wants to be in the footsteps of his grandfather Peter Fanene Maivia who also played a charactered in the James Bond movie “You Only Live Twice” as a henchman of the main antagonist.
However, the highest paid Hollywood star revealed that he wants to play the character of the protagonist instead of henchman.

“Very very cool and I would like to follow in his footsteps and be the next Bond,” he said in an interview to a foreign news agency. “[Don’t] want to be a villain. Gotta be Bond.”
There is no doubt in acting skills and physical attraction of the Dwayne Johnson, but it is very unlikely for him to be the next 007 agent as he is a US national.
“No Time To Die” was the last movie by Daniel Craig as 007 and still there are no reports who will replace him as a lead role.
Daniel Craig started the James Bond 007 role from Casino Royal, and in total Craig delivered five James Bond movies.

However, there are rumors regarding who will be the next James Bond and several actors’ names have appeared including Tom Hardy, Henry Cavill and Idris Elba. Meanwhile, there are also speculations that there may be a female Bond as well.
So far, the producers have not decided the final name yet and we all are waiting that who will be the next James Bond.
