He thanked the attendees for making the awareness session a success, calling it “one of the best since Amazon re-included Pakistan in its official sellers list,” according to the FPCCI statement.
According to Maggo, Pakistan has the ability to sell billions of dollars worth of products worldwide, including textiles, hosiery, handicrafts, toys, gift items, cultural products, cutlery and crockery, sports goods, hygiene products, books, plastic products, and many others.
He expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Commerce, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), and Amazon for allowing Pakistani entrepreneurs to resume selling on Amazon’s platform.
Maggo also offered the FPCCI’s assistance in making the most of the chance. E-commerce leaders from Pakistan as well as representatives from related businesses such as financial institutions, internet and other digital service providers, university researchers, and others attended the awareness workshop.
The FPCCI’s vice-president, Ather Sultan Chawla, stated that the apex trade organisation is devoted to assisting businesses in tapping new markets and diversifying their revenue streams through the use of digital platforms, and that Amazon is the finest platform for selling abroad.
