The new Huawei Honor Play 4 Pro can be used for contactless temperature measurement. The release of the device is suitable for the current pandemic condition. Fever is one of the major symptoms of COVID-19, and that is the reason we see non-contact forehead thermometers being used in many places today.
Despite the clash with the world’s leading market, Huawei is still bringing some gadgets which are very useful for everyone at a very affordable price. After the 5G technology Chinese smartphone giant, Huawei brings another latest phone which includes an infrared sensor that can be used for contactless temperature measurement of a person.
Huawei named the phone Honor Play 4 Pro. There is a sensor included by the company into the phone’s rear camera array, and that can take the contactless temperature of any human or object. There is a limit to the sensor as the infrared technology can only measure temperature which can be stretched for up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 Celsius) and all the way down to -4 degrees (-20 Celsius).
Weibo is the Chinese social media platform where Huawei mostly announces their extension of product range. In a video posted on Weibo Page, Huawei shows how the new phone’s unique sensor works while taking the temperature of the persons, the procedure is very simple all you have to do is point the sensor at your forehead and hold it there for some seconds until sensor analyzes and measure the temperature.
