Hyundai Nishat Motors Private Limited has finally launched Elantra GL 1.6L which will be costing Rs 4.3 million. The launch is a very good news for Elantra lovers, as they will get a beast at a not so very high price in this high inflation era.
According to speculations, the Hyundai’s sedan car will be available for viewing in showrooms over the next several days.

Features
Elantra GL 1.6 will have the following features:
- Driver and Passenger Airbags
- Hill-Start Assist
- Reverse Camera
- Smart Infotainment System
- ISOFIX Child Seat Anchors
- Multi-Media Steering Controls
- Manual A.C.
- Manual Seat Adjustment
Elantra GL 1.6L has dual airbags, ABS+EBD, and Hill Start Assistant as well as a reverse camera, however, the vehicle is missing Traction Control.
Competitors
The car will rival with the Toyota Yaris and Honda City in this pricing range. It’s worth noting, though, that this is a C-segment sedan, which includes the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. As a result, the automobile will be bigger than its key rivals (Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic) and the Elantra GL 1.6L is expected to give tough time to Toyota Yaris which is grabbing market share abruptly.
Elantra 2.0L Launch
In March 2021, Hyundai-Nishat unveiled their first C-segment car. Hyundai sold 2,784 Elantra cars in a year, according to PAMA sales estimates.
From 46-unit sales in March 2021 to 312 sales in February 2022, the new vehicle has come a long way. In just one year, there has been a 578 percent increase in exponential growth.
Elantra, on the other hand, may have had better sales and success if purchasers had more options. Against its competition, there has only been a single 2.0L Hyundai Elantra GLS type for a year. Finally, Hyundai has decided to release another Elantra type, which we believe is long overdue.
