The City Traffic Police (CTP) of Lahore has published a thorough traffic plan to assist citizens during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 7’s second leg.
The PSL’s Lahore leg will kick off on February 10th, with defending champions Multan Sultans facing off against PSL 2017 winners and three-time finalists Peshawar Zalmi.
Here’s everything you need to know about the PSL’s traffic plan for the second phase of the tournament:
Opened Roads
Both sides of Canal Road will remain available. Firdous Market, Hussain Chowk, M.M. Alam Road, Mini Market, Siddique Trade Center, Center Point, Kalma Chowk, and Barkat Market will be open to the public.

Jail Road would connect Fawara No. 1, Siddique Trade Center, and Jail Road (Canal intersection) to Qartaba Chowk, while Wahdat Road will connect Ferozepur Road.
Diversions:
On Mall Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, Ferozepur Road, and Gulberg Main Boulevard, diversions will be installed at various spots. All of the points where diversions will be placed are listed below:
Mall Road: Awari Chowk, Anarkali, Cantt Gate Palace, Sunderdas, Sultan Pulli, Dharampura Bridge with underpass, and Zafar Ali Mall.
Jail Road: Shami Chowk, Sherpao Bridge (underpass), Eden u-turn, Qartaba Chowk, Shadman Market, Examination Hall Lawrence Road, and Chamba House.
Canal Road: Dharampur Bridge with underpass, Sultan Bridge, Gulzar Bridge with underpass, FC Bridge, Zahoor Elahi R/O, and Shah Jamal.
Ferozepur Road: Ichhra, Baba Qulfi, Muslim Town, and Silk Bank.
Mini Market, Mobilink Chowk, Main Market, Maria B, Gulberg Center, Hijaz Hospital, Hussain Chowk, Flower Market, Center Point, Barkat Market R/O, Main Market R/O, Hali Chowk, and Chen One Chowk which are all located at Gulberg Main Boulevard is also under diversion.
Closed Roads:
Mall Road, Ferozepur Road, Jail Road, and Gulberg Main Boulevard would be closed for 6 to 13 minutes during the movement.
Mall Road will be closed for 6-9 minutes between Awari Chowk to Mall Road.
For 6-9 minutes, Ferozepur Road between Muslim Town to Kalma Chowk will be closed.
For 9-13 minutes, Jail Road between Eden Center to Shami Chowk will be closed.
Gulberg Main Boulevard will be closed for 9-13 minutes from Siddique Trade Center to Barkat Market.
During the match, all roads between Ichhra Bridge and Kalma Bridge, as well as Davis Chowk and Cantt Gate, will be blocked to all traffic.
Parking:
There are four parking spots designated. Spectators will be transported to the Gaddafi Stadium using shuttles.
Parking is available at Punjab University for those travelling from Thokar Niaz Baig, Icchra, and Wahdat Road. WAPDA Town, Johar Town, Garden Town, and Township residents can park their cars at Punjab University.
Liberty Market: Vehicles arriving from Kahna, Kot Lakhpat, or Ferozepur Road can park in Liberty Market.
LDA Parking Plaza: Vehicles arriving from Cantt and Gulberg can park in LDA Parking Plaza.
Jam e Shireen Park: Vehicles arriving from Walton and Defense can park in Jam e Shireen Park.
