On Wednesday, a micro smart lockdown has been imposed by the Punjab government in multiple areas of the six cities in the province.
According to the authorities, complete satisfaction is not affordable right in these days by considering COVID-19 to be vanished out. This is why, Punjab government for the sake of cation, imposed micro smart lockdown in various areas of six cities of Punjab despite the decrease in coronavirus cases in the country.

Muhammad Usman the provincial health department secretary said that the micro smart lockdown has been imposed to make people stop interacting so that the virus may not spread in these areas. “Only the micro smart lockdown in the affected areas of Punjab can stop more people from being infected by a coronavirus,” said the secretary.
He also said that the virus has been vanished out till now and that people should feel easy while meeting others and bear in mind that the only way to stop the disease is to take precautionary measures.
According to the details, 33 areas in the six cites have been placed under micro smart lockdown covering a population of 3,747. Gujrat is one of the cities where the most number of people have been placed under the lockdown and Rawalpindi, Lahore are the other cities placed under the micro smart lockdown.
