Scientists have claimed that a UK mouthwash brand Dentyl which is made up of mint and cloves eradicated Covid-19 within 30 seconds.
The scientists of Cardiff University have said that cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) exists in Dentyle and if the quantity of 0.07 of this chloride exists in any mouthwash, it can destroy the virus. These experts have claimed that after the gargles of this mouth wash for 30 seconds, coronavirus vanishes.

These experiments have been published in a research magazine during the last week. The use of this mouth wash when used on coronavirus patients, showed highly effective results.
This experiment on patients was applied in the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. Prominent scientist Professor David Thomas headed the team, which did these experiments. During the experiment, the covid-19 patients were given different kinds of mouthwash and then their saliva was analyzed.
Prof. David said that the results of the experiments, done in the laboratories are yet to be received as the experiments are still going on. Their preliminary report, which is yet to be peer-reviewed, supports a study published last week that found mouthwash containing CPC helps in reducing the viral load of people infected with Covid-19.
“Although this in-vitro study is very encouraging and is a positive step, more clinical research is now clearly needed,” Dr Thomas told the PA news agency, as quoted by the Independent newspaper.
“We need to understand if the effect of over-the-counter mouthwashes on the COVID-19 virus achieved in the laboratory can be reproduced in patients, and we look forward to completing our clinical trial in early 2021.”
The study of Dentyl mouthwash did not clarify whether the coronavirus patients were given the mouth wash of mint, cloves, or the mixture of both.
The experts have told that the chemical Cetylpyridinium is the source of recovery.
