The PITB with the collaboration of City Traffic Police Gujranwala (CTP) has unveiled a productive mobile app named Rasta which will be beneficial for local commuters as it aims to provide traffic solutions.
The Rasta app is developed for both Android and iOS platforms and users can download this app from respective app stores. The app provides general public traffic associated problems, inquiries, and solutions.

The app will assist Gujranwala citizens in various forms such as the issuance of new driving licenses, paying challans and showing driving routes. The Rasta app constantly monitors traffic and alerts its users for a trouble free ride.

Traffic Update features installed in the application permits its users to obtain knowledge about the planned traffic route. With the help of Google Maps traffic updates, the app will guide users based on best, possible and congestion-free route available.

The app provides alert on real time basis related to traffic jams, any kind of roadblock, sit-ins, protest or any kind of activity taking place within city.
