A video of the interaction, which has since gone viral on social media, shows Prime Minister Sharif and President Erdogan, alongside Turkey’s first lady, sharing a convivial conversation. The recent presidential election and mutual appreciations were among the topics discussed.
In the midst of the congenial conversation, Prime Minister Sharif presented a gift to President Erdogan and his wife – a box of Pakistani mangoes. With a hint of humor, he specified that half the mangoes were for the re-elected president and the remaining for the first lady. President Erdogan responded with a nod to the renowned flavor and quality of Pakistani mangoes.
Prime Minister Sharif extended hearty congratulations to President Erdogan on his re-election and communicated the elation felt by the Pakistani people over Erdogan’s victory.

A statement from the PM Office confirmed that Prime Minister Sharif also expressed gratitude to President Erdogan for inviting him to join the momentous occasion and celebrate their triumph. He wished the newly inaugurated president the best for his term.
