Al-Haj Proton Pakistan has introduced locally produced automobiles that are less expensive than CBU models and the firm claims that the prices of locally assembled cars have been cut by up to Rs 100,000.

Price of Locally Assembled Proton Saga Cars
The Proton Saga 1.3 ACE A/T, with a CBU price of Rs 2,225,000 and a locally produced unit costing Rs 2,175,000, a savings of Rs 50,000.

The Proton Saga 1.3L Standard A/T, which has a CKD rate of Rs 2,075,000, reduced from Rs 2,125,000, a saving of Rs 50,000. The Proton Saga 1.3L Standard M/T, which has also seen a reduction of Rs 50,000 in pricing, with the CKD unit costing Rs 1,925,000 versus Rs 1,975,000 for the CBU.
Prices of Proton X70 CKD
Proton X70 Executive All Wheel Drive (AWD) is the first variant, with a CKD pricing of Rs 4,590,000, which is Rs 100,000 less than the CBU price of Rs 4,690,000.
The Proton X70 Premium Front Wheel Drive (FWD), which has also seen a price reduction of Rs 100,000, with the CKD unit costing Rs 4,890,000 versus Rs 4,990,000.
Delivery and Booking Status
Both the Saga and the X70 are available for order, with a delivery date of May 2022.
Proton Pakistan has taken an excellent move in lowering rates, as KIA, Honda, Toyota and Suzuki all have increased prices.
