In order to check the performance of the Assistant Commissioner, Punjab Government has launched an application that would monitor ACs’ performance.
Iram Bukhari, Additional Chief Secretary Punjab announced that the government has developed an app to monitor ACs’ performance. In a statement last week, Additional Chief Secretary Punjab said that the app was developed under the special directives of Usman Bazdar Chief Minister Punjab.
His major behind this development was to eradicate corruption and restoring the confidence of the Public in government institutions. She added that Assistant Commissioners would be located via the app and feedback would be taken via video call.

Moreover, this application will not only help to evaluate the performance of the officers, rather the officers of the districts too. In this way, at the end of every month, the report of the performance of all ACs and officers will be delivered to Additional Chief Secretary Punjab.
The officers’ performance will be monitored on the basis of price fixation of vegetables and fruits, an inspection of land record centers, price checking of essential commodities, land revenue collection, retrieval of government land, and objections received on Pakistan Citizen Portal and will be monitored directly in the office of additional chief secretary Punjab.
She added that the application will assess the officers’ field inspections in all the districts of Punjab and indicators of different colors will demonstrate the relevant AC is at present in the field for inspection of which specific purpose.

In simple words, this app will be helpful to assess the performance of ACs in regard to various performances. The monitoring will be done on daily basis, monthly or seasonal basis. Later, altogether the whole report will be submitted to Bukhari who will evaluate the top tehsils. The officers’ performance will be monitored on the basis of the above-mentioned major points.
