Residents of Karachi can now book air travel from the comfort of their homes through Sky Wings’ newly launched air taxi service. This forward-thinking initiative enables users to conveniently secure their preferred air commute schedules and destinations via a user-friendly mobile app, similar to traditional online cab booking systems.
After successful and error-free trial runs, this unique air taxi service is now operational in Pakistan. The service employs single-engine aircraft with a passenger capacity of four to six individuals. These aircraft are capable of covering routes from Karachi to various locations within Interior Sindh and Balochistan.
Significantly, the air taxi service is competitively priced, offering rates lower than those of conventional chartered services. This makes it an attractive alternative for travelers seeking a more time-efficient mode of transport.
Sky Wings will initially roll out eight aircraft of varying capabilities for this service, aiming to accommodate a wide range of passenger needs.

Sky Wings’ CEO shared that typical chartered services could charge upwards of Rs2.5 million for flights from Karachi to other cities within Sindh and Balochistan. In contrast, the company’s air taxi service aims to provide a more affordable solution without compromising on convenience or efficiency. In addition to the newly introduced air taxi, Sky Wings also operates an air ambulance service and regular flights to the historical city of Mohenjo-daro.
