The TikTok craze claims another life as a teenager accidentally shot and killed himself while shooting a TikTok video in Bagan, Abbottabad.
According to the police the sad incident took place in Bagan neighborhood of Abbottabad where a 10th grade metric student Abdul Samad was filming a video with a pistol. He accidentally pulled the trigger, fatally injuring himself. The was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries and died.
This craze of the highly popular Chinese free video-sharing app that allows users to create and share short 15-second videos has taken many lives.
Recently, an 18-year-old boy in Narowal lost his life while making a video for the app.
The teenager identified as Husnain drowned in a Narowal canal while recording a TikTok video with the application.
On June 21, a teenage boy had shot himself dead while making a video for TikTok in Karachi.
In another incident a few months ago, a teenager making TikTok video fall under his own tractor, rolled down by the tractor and was badly killed.
TikTok has become an instant way to fame and therefore teenagers are highly impressed by the top TikTok stars and try to act likewise. But in their acts to get fame, many innocent boys and girls do some stunt that actually takes their life.
Apart from instant fame, millions of followers, many people are earning heavy amounts from this app and now many people are even getting a chance to become models, act in commercials, music video, movies and dramas like Jannat Mirza, Areeka Haq, Alishba Anjum, and Aimen and Mujtaba, etc.
