Tennis stars Federer, Nadal help serve Pakistan’s coronavirus relief efforts

Tennis tops stars, Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Maria Sharapova and the Indian ace Sania Mirza have rallied relief efforts to let top tennis players of Pakistan help people affected by the virus pandemic.

These tennis stars are among a start-stubbed lineup of former and present athletes. They donated their signed memorabilia to the stars against Hunger auction. This initiative was taken last week by Aisam-ul-Haq the Pakistanis double specialist, he has been raising funds and also been delivering door-to-door “ration packs” to deserving families in the country who are affected due to the lockdown condition.

Coronavirus has badly affected every single person in all countries and that is why he is trying to play his good part in a better way and in this lockdown condition, daily wages workers, poor, and needy people have badly affected.

His foundation is a non-profitable organization called Stop War Start Tennis, in collaboration with “Rizq”. This organization has helped 2,500 families so far in underprivileged areas of most populous province Punjab.

“I feel like tennis has given me this opportunity and platform to help these people out right now and it’s a need of the hour as well,” the 40-year old said. He further said that he is trying to help these people during a pandemic because the most important thing is compassion for humanity.
