International Islamic University Public Islamabad
On the first day of Hijrah in the fifteenth century, Muharram 1, 1401, the Islamic University of Islamabad was established (November 11,1980). The goals and ambitions of the Muslim Ummah for an Islamic Renaissance are symbolised by this new century’s milestone. The institution was founded to produce scholars and practitioners versed in Islamic philosophy, whose character and personality are consistent with Islamic teachings, and who are capable of addressing the economic, social, political, technological, and intellectual demands of the Muslim Ummah.
The Institute is housed within the grounds of the beautiful Faisal Mosque, along with a few other departments such as the Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue, Dawah Academy, Shariah Academy, and Institute of Professional Development.
In conformity with Islamic principles, the university provides academic services to both men and women through separate campuses. These campuses, as well as the central library, administrative wing, and hostels, are all located in Sector H-10.
The university’s mission is to give every possibility for the holistic and harmonious development of individuals and society, as well as the reconstruction of human thought in all of its forms, based on Islamic principles, in order to support and promote education ,To ensure the Muslim Ummah’s ideological, moral, intellectual, social, economic, and technological development in accordance with the values, ideals, principles, and norms of Islam, researchers in Islamic learning, social, natural, applied, and communication sciences, and other branches of learning are trained.

FEMALE CAMPUS:-
In the year 2000, the International Islamic University Islamabad built a separate campus for female students.
The Female Campus has around 11500 female students enrolled in several faculties.
There are roughly 260 female teaching staff members (excluding visiting faculty members) and about 420 non-teaching staff members.
MALE CAMPUS:-
The campus layout and all of the structures that will be developed there were designed by well-known architects. Landscape design and creating an appropriate backdrop for all of the structures have been given careful consideration. In keeping with the spirit of the International University, the architecture is a thoughtful blend of modern and traditional Islamic influences.

LIBRARY:-
The International Islamic University Islamabad’s Central Library is located in Sector H-10 of Islamabad. In July 2006, the library relocated to a new structure with two levels.
The bottom floor houses the reference, reserve, thesis, circulation desk, and office of the chief librarian, while the first floor houses the general collection, newspapers, and periodicals section.
Book Bank services are available at both the male and female campuses of the Central Library. Syllabic books can be borrowed for the entire semester from the book bank.
ADMISSIONS:-
A candidate’s admission is granted (save for international students) based on the results of a written exam and an interview held according to the University’s schedule. On the model of the TOEFL, GMAT, and SAT, the admission test focuses on Arabic and English language abilities, subject aptitude, and general analytical ability.
