As the teams of all four franchises gather for the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League, international players have begun to arrive in Karachi (PSL).
The port city has so far been reached by Karachi Kings head coach Herschelle Gibbs and squad members Chadwick Walton, Colin Ingram and Noor Ahmed.
Karachi will also be visited by players from Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandar.
When the whole team is assembled, the players will be screened for COVID-19. When the reports are clear, before their training session begins on February 15, the players and officials will go to a bio-secure bubble.
The opening match will be played on February 20 between the defending champion Karachi Kings and 2019 champions Quetta Gladiators.
On Friday, Peshawar Zalmi head coach Darren Sammy landed in Karachi, while the team will be joined by Peshawar Zalmi captain Wahab Riaz, Shoaib Malik, Imam-ul-Haq and Kamran Akmal.
In addition, Ravi Bopara will be arriving in Karachi on Saturday, while on February 14, Rutherford and Mujeebur Rehman will be in Karachi.
